The new Y-3 Spring/Summer 2012 campaign by Arena HOMME+ contributor Collier Schorr takes its cue from the experimental city of Brasilia. Portraits are collaged with xeroxes of archival Brasilia, to suggest a delicate balance between the body and the many ways it is contained.
“I was inspired by the androgyny of Yohji Yamanoto’s designs to translate the clothing’s dualities onto screen and image. I was playing with a multitude of influences for the S/S 2012 campaign, inspired by the modernist literature and architecture that is in itself a fusion of political and architectural mantras, both dreamy and concrete.” Collier Schorr, January 2012
Yesterday evening marked the launch of David Beckham's new line of underwear for H&M, at the Regent Street Flagship store. The collection, which will be sold across H&Ms worldwide starting today, consists of a very classic, and simply designed selection of underwear and bodywear for men. The pieces reflect David Beckham's desire to introduce underwear to the market that is both contemporary and timeless- He said as the collection continued each season he hoped it may reach the same status as the holy grail of mens underwear- Calvin Klein.
Presenting the best bits from the VERY exclusive unveiling and press conference.

Paris’ Musée des Arts Decoratifs will soon be hosting a retrospective of the heritage brand and their nearly 14-year partnership with Marc Jacobs. The dichotomous exhibition will detail two distinct periods of Vuitton: Post & Pre-Jacobs.
Very much the epitome of a 21st century designer, Jacobs was like bringing Warhol to the mega brand: completely informed and progressive on all fronts, from design to business and strategy. Taking us from industrialisation to globalisation, curator Pamela Goblin has contextualized the brand’s initial moment of creation and their major turning point nearly two centuries later with the American designer.
Vuitton’s 19th century garments and accessories will sit alongside Jacob’s contemporary work, including big-wig art world collaborations with Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince to name a few. Definitely one for the summer hit-list.

The accuracy of the combat sport, the strict line of the uniform.
Introducing the dynamic moves of a fencer set to a beat which is reminiscent of the sport’s rhythm. On sophisticated, white tailored silhouettes which echo the fencing uniform juxtaposed with bold pop shades of yellow, red and blue. It is this fusion of tailoring and sportswear which are at the core of SLVR.

'Smile at Your Sister' is a Vienna based blog with a focus on women and sport, saying 'women in motion are beautiful'. The creators are Kathrin Knapp and Daniela Bily. It started nearly two years ago, and the idea behind it was: "It's about girls in motion. We love them on bikes, on boards, on the dance floor, when they sing and paint. Smile at Your Sister is for raw girls with soul".
